Xitu Diamonds (Cooperativa Mineira Xitu-Camongua) is a collective of 6 (and growing) diamonds cooperatives in Angola. We partner with communities to explore diamonds and other minerals to create prosperity at the grass roots level. We hope to accomplish this by not only sharing with community stakeholders the natural resources that rightfully belong to the communities with which we partner, but, also by investing into social projects that the stakeholders identify, plan, and implement along with us. Our operations have three levels: 1) Alluvial Diamonds Exploration - with a $1.5 million fund, we engage in alluvial diamond exploration. 2) Semi-industrial Diamonds Exploration - with a $5 million fund, we engage in a fairly mechanized diamonds exploration. 3) Industrial Diamonds Exploration - this will be our biggest operation and we are currently seeking $10 million to explore a kimberlite field.
